There was great response to my new oils at my 2011 Studio Show . You can see the oils on pages 8-11 in the Gallery New works 2011.
You can visit my studio and view the oils and watercolours anytime by appointment.
This May I painted in the Greek Islands of Mykonos and Santorini: domed churches,fishing boats and poppy fields by the Aegean Sea. I returned to the Tuscan hill village of Montisi in Italy where I painted the bell towers and ancient walls and doorways. I spent June in the thatched village of Amberley where I painted in the poppy fields of the South Downs and the thatched cottages and gardens. At home in my studio I am working on oils based on my watercolours done on location on my European travels. I have also done many paintings of local scenes. These paintings are now on my website under Galleries New Works 2011.
I painted in oils and watercolour on Lake of Bays, Peninsula Lake and Killarney on Georgian Bay.
